2. Installing ESXi 5.1

There are many ways to install ESXi server, but here let's install it inside VMware workstation 9. First of all you have to download it from VMware downloads. It's valid only for 60 days. But if you have an account there you can get a free key. Installing ESXi is very easy :). Important step from the start of loading .iso file are given below.

1) Standard Boot Menu. Select the option "Standard Installer" 

2) Select "Enter" in the welcome window 

3) You know what to do here ;)

4) Select the default storage which you are when creating the virtual machine and press "Enter"

5) Select the default US keyboard

6) Give root password

7) Confirm the installation

After the installation you have to reboot. That's all :)
